What the site uses
This website does not set cookies or use advertising and analytics trackers. It uses one browser storage entry when you choose a light or dark theme.
Your operating system’s colour preference is used until you make a choice. No theme storage entry is created just by visiting the page.
Theme preference
- Name
datadeft-theme- Storage type
- First-party session storage in your browser.
- Purpose
- Keep your chosen colour theme as you navigate or reload pages in the same tab.
- Contents
- “light” or “dark”. No identifier or browsing history.
- Duration
- The tab’s browsing session, or until you clear the preference. A browser’s restore-session feature may restore it.
- Recipients
- The value stays in your browser. It is not transmitted to Datadeft or another provider.
Your control
Use the theme icon in the navigation to change the appearance. The button below clears the saved choice and returns to your operating system’s theme.
You can also remove site storage through your browser’s privacy settings. The website still works when browser storage is blocked.
An earlier version stored the same preference in persistent local storage. This version removes that older entry when a page loads.
Hosting and other sites
Loading pages still sends technical request information to our hosting provider. The privacy notice explains access logs, their purpose and retention.
Links to other websites open services with their own storage and privacy practices. We do not embed their tracking scripts, fonts, videos or interactive maps here.
